Cloud Architect – Hybrid (Permanent)

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Position Type: Permanent – Full time

Salary: €70,000–€80,000

A leading global consultancy is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join its growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects for major local and international clients, while being part of a collaborative, innovative, and supportive environment.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering cutting-edge technical solutions, primarily on the Microsoft Azure platform. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you’ll drive cloud adoption, lead architectural discussions, and ensure solutions are optimised for performance, scalability, and security.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Azure, Azure AD, and related technologies.
  • Promoting cloud adoption internally and externally, sharing best practices and insights.
  • Leading deep technical engagements with clients and guiding them through successful cloud migrations and deployments.
  • Acting as a trusted technical advisor, bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions.
  • Applying architecture best practices to align IT strategy with business goals.
  • Supporting clients in establishing cloud governance, roadmaps, and long-term visions.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter with a strong technical background in large-scale Azure implementations. Additional experience with AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.

You’ll bring:

  • Hands-on experience in cloud migrations and deployments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, infrastructure as code, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with cloud security, DevOps, CI/CD, and networking.
  • Experience in .NET development or other cloud technologies.
  • Azure Architecture certification (AWS/GCP certifications desirable).
